The race has sold out very quickly in previous years. If you want to get a slot, then please sign up as quickly as possible.
How/Where do I register?
Register through the Triathlon Ireland site here.
Do I need a race Licence?
Yes, Race Licence or One Day Licence/Membership required. I.D will also be required on Race Registration.

A G.B. Triathlon licence can be used to enter our races. Anyone who has a licence from another Country Governing Body should contact Triathlon Ireland in advance. Email reception@triathlonireland.com and send over proof of your licence (including date.) You will then be asked to make a Triathlon Ireland account as just a Site User, so you can register for the event.
What is the course like?
The swim is in a lovely picturesque lake (Eskragh Lough) just a few miles outside Dungannon. It's a two lap swim. The bike course is fast 3 loop rolling course with a Middle Distance record of 2 hours 3 mins (56 miles/90km) & 476m elevation. The run is very flat and fast 2 loop course. Current course record holder is Bryan McCrystal in 2017, finishing in 4 hours 3 mins. see Garmin files for course below:

Can I swim/train in advance at Eskragh Lough (race HQ)?
NO. Eskragh lough is a beautiful location for swimming and triathlon. However, the lake, car park and headquarters facilities are privately owned. Our triathlon club (Tri Limits) has an arrangement to use the facility at certain times and all swimming in the lake is managed through our club to ensure the safety and security of everyone. We will publish times on our social media channels to allow participants to avail of swim practices in the lead up to our race. During these allocated times there will be some of our crew available to answer questions about the race. We strictly ask participants to respect this arrangement and only swim at the published times.

Where can I stay?
Accommodation can be found through the Mid Ulster Council Site. There is strictly NO camping or overnight stay available at Race venue. https://www.midulstercouncil.org/visitor/places-to-stay

Pack Collection Date and Times will be released with the Race Brief email and on our social media.
Is there a waiting list?
No. If the race is sold out, there will be NO waiting list for Tri-Tyrone. Any refunded places may be released on 1st May. This is not guaranteed.
If I can’t race can I get a refund?
Refunds will only be available up until the 30th of April. There will be an admin fee of €10.
To request a refund before the cut off period email trityrone70.3@gmail.com
with your registration name and Triathlon Ireland licence number.
Any Refunded entries may reopen a place – if any entries become available they will go on sale on 1 May @ Triathlon Ireland website. There are no guarantees of any additional entries being available.
After the 30th of April there will be no further refunds.
Transfers can be made via Triathlon Ireland website up to 30th May. However any race merchandise sizes cannot be amended after 30 April.
Deferral - There is no option to defer your entry.

If the race is cancelled due to Covid 19 or any other reason outside the race organisers controll, a full refund will be offered to all participants.
What is the cut off times for Tri Tyrone?
Total Cut off time for Middle Distance is 8hrs 30Mins.
Race begins at 9am
Swim Cut off - 10.10am (1 hour 10 mins from start)
Bike Cut off – 2.30pm (5 hours 30 mins from start)
Run/Final Cut off – 5.30pm (8 hours 30 mins from start)
